In a sad, sad statement from their website, the Dave Matthews Band has announced that they will be taking off the summer of 2012 from touring. It will be the first summer in 20 years that they will not be playing any concerts. The band has said that they will make this summer’s tour one of the best yet. This news was really sad for me and my fellow Dave heads. For so many of us DMB concerts are one of the highlights of the summer, I have been going to both nights of DMB concerts at Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, IN for the past 10 years. A summer without the annual pilgrimage to see my favorite band will almost feel empty. Despite the sadness surrounding this years tour, the band has promised the best tour yet. If you are a true fan of DMB you can’t miss this summers shows and I would suggest you get your tickets soon because they are going fast.
