FAN MAIL

Here is an email recently sent to me in regards to the fabulous customer service and great event experience that our customer had……..
I would like to thank you and your staff for the Brooks and Dunn tickets.

Even though they put a stage extention and eliminated a number a seats, I feel my wife and I had the best seats in the house. They were right there at the end of the runway. We could not have been any closer. Because of the seat we had, those added seats to section B, we were chosen by one of the cameramen to have our picture on the big screens during one of the songs.

Thanks again.
Dale S.

Call Circle City Tickets when you want to sit in the “best seat in the house” for your event. All of our representatives want to make your event experience a great one!

Sloppy Seconds

Since the beginning of “cinematic adventures,” filmmakers have been breaking the one cardinal rule of movies: sequels. Unless the film is part of a series, there should never be a 2, II, too, also, again, or any combination of words that imply that this movie is trying to come back for a second round at the end of a film title. Why the strong distaste for sequels? Let’s take a peek at a short list of prime examples:

-Grease 2
-Look Who’s Talking, Too and Look Who’s Talking Now
-Beverly Hills Cop II & II (and I for that matter)
-Speed 2: Cruise Control
-Transporter 2
-The Ling II, The Little Mermaid II, Cinderella 2, and any other sequels to the classic Disney cartoon movies
-Save the Last Dance 2
-Free Willy 2: The Adventure Home
-My Girl 2 (….the icing on the cake!)

If any of you enjoyed one or more of the movies listed, then I am open to hearing your opinions.  But my consensus remains that nothing beats the original.

Which brings me to my main point:   Colts Play Superbowl in Miami II was bound to disappoint.  The casting was similar, but missing a few key stars.  The wardrobe was mixed up a bit buy switching from white jerseys to blue.  The villain was a fresh opponent.  The set was changed from rainy Sunday to warm evening.  And of course the ending had to change in order to keep audiences in suspense.  Colts fans give this Miami re-do two giant foam thumbs down.

Now that Indianapolis has had nearly two weeks to get over their disgust, it is time to check the showtimes for this upcoming week of  some fresh originals or additions to a favorite series available through Circle City Tickets.

Colts will play the Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens stand in the way of the Indianapolis Colts returning to the AFC Championship game. The Ravens pummeled the Patriots Sunday 33-14 in Gillette Stadium, the home of the New England Patriots, to earn the right to play the Colts.

The sixth seeded Ravens will find a well rested and fired up Indianapolis Colts team lead by newly crowned league MVP Peyton Manning. The last time these two teams meet was Nov 22 in Baltimore. That day the Colts came away with their 7th straight win over the Ravens, 17-15. Manning passed for 299 yards and one touchdown but still gave up two interceptions. The Colts Defense allowed 354 total yards but held the Ravens to five Ravens field goals.

The Colts hope to continue their playoff journey this weekend with a win against the Ravens. Did you miss the last run to the Super Bowl the Colts had in 2007? Don’t miss it this time! Circle City Tickets is once again the place for tickets to all of the Colts Playoff games. Colts not perfect but still the best!

The Indianapolis Colts are no longer perfect for the 2009 season. The Colts dropped their first game on Sunday against the New York Jets, mainly do to a coaching decision to take out the starters late in the third quarter. Back up QB Curtis Painter came in for his first NFL appearance, and with all due respect to Painter, proved why number 18 should win his 4th MVP award. With the one loss nothing has changed for the Colts. They are still in the driver’s seat with respect to their playoff aspirations. Would it have been nice to go undefeated? Sure, but what would you rather have a healthy Peyton Manning, Dallas Clark and Reggie Wayne and a chance at another Super Bowl championship in three years or a undefeated season? I will take the Super Bowl every time. The Goal for every team in the NFL, every year is to win the Super Bowl; it is not to go undefeated. Colts fans get over the loss! It’s done, and don’t be surprised if we lose in Buffalo. Remember, keep you eye on the prize! The prize is in Miami and it is another Super Bowl Championship!
