Great news for every DMB fan! The Band announced that “2011 is our 20th anniversary as a band and we want to celebrate by playing music together. While we are still taking the year off from touring, we have decided to plan four multi-day, multi-artist music events that will take place this summer. We will be sending out save the date emails and announcing more information soon but we wanted to share the news with our fans first.” Unfortunately, no one is certain what these “four multi-day, multi-artist music events” are or where they are going to be, but Circle City Tickets will keep you up to date with all of the exciting news!
Dave to Finish Tour at Wrigley Field

It has finally been announced, Dave Matthews Band will end their tour with a 2 night stand at Wrigley Field Sept 18 and 19. This not so well kept secret has sent DMB fans every into a frenzy getting plans together for that weekend. With the news earlier this year that DMB is not going to be touring next year, this weekend will be huge! Not only will it be the first time DMB has played at Wrigley Field, one of the most famous ball parks in the World but it will be their last concert before touring hiatus. Wrigley field is much larger than most venues that DMB has played at this year but due to the circumstances surrounding this weekend, tickets will be tough to come by. Luckily, Circle City Tickets will have access to plenty of seats for both nights. So have no fear Dave Heads, you will get to go to the show, just give Circle City a call and we will make sure of it!
Dave Matthews Band Is Taking a Summer off….

In a sad, sad statement from their website, the Dave Matthews Band has announced that they will be taking off the summer of 2012 from touring. It will be the first summer in 20 years that they will not be playing any concerts. The band has said that they will make this summer’s tour one of the best yet. This news was really sad for me and my fellow Dave heads. For so many of us DMB concerts are one of the highlights of the summer, I have been going to both nights of DMB concerts at Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, IN for the past 10 years. A summer without the annual pilgrimage to see my favorite band will almost feel empty. Despite the sadness surrounding this years tour, the band has promised the best tour yet. If you are a true fan of DMB you can’t miss this summers shows and I would suggest you get your tickets soon because they are going fast.
