The Theatre Guild’s Tony awards were presented last Sunday and “Billy Elliot” walked away the clear winner of  “Best Musical”.  The show also made theatrical history as the first to have co-winners of the “Best Actor – Musical” category.

Already a clear favorite of theatre-goers in and visiting New York, “Billy Elliot” is certain to increase its popularity now that it has these Tony’s under its belt.

Sold-out houses are not at all uncommon on or off Broadway.  And the best way to ensure you have a seat is to purchase your tickets ahead of time.

“Billy Elliot” tickets are still available while it’s showing at the Imperial Theatre NY.  I got mine through CircleCityTickets.com and have already planned my trip to New York City…..well, I don’t have my flight arrangements made.
