A stingy defense continues to define the 2012-2013 Indiana Pacers
Posted by Steven in Basketball, NBA on January 23rd, 2013
The Indiana Pacers have arguably been one of the hottest teams with the hottest player in the league, Paul George. George has recently solidified his chances of being selected to play in the All-Star game with a solid performance against LeBron James and the Miami Heat. Over the last month the Indiana Pacers have allowed just 100 points just once. The Pacers are coming off two of their best wins of the season, holding the Heat to a season-low 77 points and the Carmelo Anthony-less Knicks to a season-worst 76 points. The Pacers defense is the most efficient in the league, holding opponents to 95.4 points per 100 possessions.
A stingy defense, but inconsistent offensive has been the story of the season for the Indiana Pacers. Although, head coach Frank Vogel believes that when the offense catches up with the defense they’ll be a tough team to beat. In addition, the Pacers recently signed head coach Frank Vogel to a contract extension. Vogel is in his third year as head coach for the Pacers and he has led the Pacers to a Central Division best 23-15 record.

Circle City Tickets, a full service ticket broker for all types of events across the country, announced this week the opening of their second office location.
The new office is located at 12 West Maryland St. in downtown Indianapolis.
“This new office puts us right in the heart of 4 major Indianapolis venues – Conseco Fieldhouse, Lucas Oil Stadium, White River State Park, and Victory Field,” explained Angelo Peduto, partner at Circle City Tickets.
The downtown office will be open weekdays 10:30 – 5:00, with extended hours on days of events including all Colts home games. Customers can buy, sell and pick up tickets at the new office, just as they can at the original location – at 8301 North Keystone Avenue on the north side.
“Our service is what puts us a notch above ordinary ticket sellers. We have a reputation for finding the tough, high-demand tickets, meeting short deadlines, maintaining fair prices, and generally taking great care of our customers,” added Peduto. “This new location is just another huge convenience for our customers.”
Circle City Tickets has been filling ticket orders for over twenty years, and is a member of the National Association of Ticket Brokers, The Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, and The Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association.
Indiana Pacers 2010-2011
Posted by Indianapolis Tickets in Basketball, NBA, Uncategorized on September 29th, 2010
I know it is hard to believe but it is time for the NBA to start back up for the 2010-2011 season. The Pacers start the pre-season next Friday against the Orlando Magic. This year should be an exciting year as the new look Pacers try to build on their sub .500 year last year. In the offseason, the Pacers made some noise by trading Troy Murphy (collective cheer from all of Indiana) for Darren Collison, a strong, athletic, scoring Point Guard. They also drafted a talented Paul George out of San Diego State University with their 10th overall pick who will add athleticism as well as much needed scoring from the wing. To continue with the office tradition, John, Ryan and the Gift of Variety have all predicted how many wins the Pacers are going to have this year. Ryan has the most optimism predicting 44 wins, then Gift of Variety with 34 wins and finally John has the most pessimistic view predicting 33 wins (Surprised?). Follow along with us this season for regular updates on how the wins (hopefully) are stacking up for our beloved Pacers!
